Off to Kauai...The Most Beautiful Island!

We are off to the gorgeous island of Kauai. This island is by FAR my most favorite!

It amazes me how such a teeny tiny plane carries so many people across the ocean safely. I always feel like it will crash and we will all drown. Luckily we are only in the air for a half an hour or less.

We are headed for more fun and adventure!

I am so glad that Howie has the opportunity to work in Hawaii several times a year and allows me to come along.

When we arrived we headed over to our Condo.......

I found this GREAT DEAL online for this place to stay at 70% off the price. I couldn't believe it. I was so impressed when we arrived. This place is absolutely gorgeous!

We had our own private beach.......

With LOTS of GREEEEN grass....

The view from our room was SPECTACULAR!

There was a pool area right next to the beach.....

We even had a barbeque area to cook up some food.

I loved our patio area, although we didn't have much time to really enjoy it like I would have liked. We were off playing too much to take the time to sit around and just veg! I think if Howie were to ever take the job in Hawaii then I would want to live here. It was so peaceful and calm. I spoke with a man who lives here 6 months out of the year and HE LOVES IT! I can see why!!!

We enjoyed having an actual kitchen here. Usually when we travel it is from one hotel room to another and it gets really expensive to go out to restaurants for all of our meals. This trip we were able to stop by a nearby COSTCO and stock up on all of our eating needs and it saved us TONS!!! Although we ate WAY, WAY TOO MUCH food here. I think I gained 10 pounds just from what we ate here in Kauaii. Nothing quite like homemade food. YUMMMM!

This place was nice and roomy with a lot of space to just sprawl out and relax.

We even had separate rooms which was also a plus and which Steve loved :)

I highly recommend if you are in Kauai and need a place to stay.... THIS IS THE PLACE. (do I sound like an advertisement for this condo?)

Well it is time to go exploring around the island....We are off to visit Wailua Falls and Poipu Beach. Stay tuned for more adventure and traveling fun :) :) :)
