Hanauma Bay......

By the time Steve got of work and picked us up from the beach there was not much time to go snorkeling. We headed to Hanauma Bay (which by the way is an awesome place to snorkel). We had only about 45 minutes or so before they closed. If we really rushed we could at least get a little bit of snorkeling in but we chose to do it on another trip back to Hawaii. Ash really wants to go to Hawaii with Tyson and April will probably go here again with her "new husband". So instead of trying to SQUEEZE in a snorkeling adventure we just snapped some pictures of the area and then headed back to our hotel.

Like I have said in previous posts....I love the parks here in Hawaii. The trees are so awesome and everything is SOOOO green.

Time to head back....Hey Howie and T....GET A ROOM!

After we got back and cleaned up we headed out for dinner. Howie and I really like this hotel (I think the name of it is the Oceanarium) so we decided to take the girls there. I absolutely LOVE seafood and it is served BUFFET style. All you can eat!!! NOW WERE TALKIN"!

You can see in the background the huge glass aquarium. It is 3 stories high filled with all sorts of fish. I thought it would be fun to go around 6:00 because that is the time that they are feeding the fish. When we got there they were finishing up. A lady was swimming around in her scuba gear and the fish were all eating BUT....I soon found out that "feeding time" is not necessarily the best time to come. All of the water was really murky and you could not see as well as the prior visits to this restaurant. I have some pretty awesome pictures and videos from the last time Howie and I came here. The fish would come right up to the window and look you straight into your face. The stingrays were amazing as they swam in unison. and the colors were amazing. (I plan to be posting some of our pictures from that trip and the Tahiti trip at a later date. Really cool pictures) Anyway....the pictures I took of the fish this trip just didn't turn out. The water was so cloudy you could hardly see the beautiful colors of the fish.

Well....Cheers to a wonderful day in the sun. We had a fabulous time and I have really enjoyed the trip so far. Much, much more to come. Tomorrow morning it is off to Kauaii. YEAH!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that island! It is by far my favorite.

I saw a license plate cover the other day that said "Kauai Girl" and it made me think of you!
