Bowling with the Family.....

June 21. 2011
We are always trying to find different things to do as a family to form memories when we come into town.  This day we decided to head off to the bowling alley.
Nate was BEYOND excited to go.....Can't ya tell!  lol
Enjoying snacks as we bowl....
The pictures did not turn out too well because of the lighting but I thought I would post them anyway.  Luke is quite the little bowler.  He is taking after his mom and dad.
He got more spares than anyone of us that day.  He certainly knows how to bank it off the bumper pads.
Luke learned that day how to put a spin on the ball and he was pretty darn good at it. He was adorable to watch and see his arms spinning in hopes that the ball would turn.
This video was adorable as well.  You can tell he has watched his daddy.  He polishes up the ball before he throws it.  This spinner was pretty awesome.  Great job Luke!
Brayden was a great little bowler as well.  Too bad the pictures were so bad but luckily I took videos as well.
The thing I loved the most about watching Brayden was how he would follow everything his dad did.  I think he wants to be just like dad when he grows up.

Lyss found her favorite seat in the house....
Uncle Tyson was so awesome with the girls. He was so patient as he taught them how to bowl.  I love watching the "Tender" side of Ty.  He is really cute with the girls.

Grandma T ruined this shot.  I kept bugging her to turn around so I could get a picture.  Well she did pretty good even with the distractions!  :)
Before she took her next turn she turned to me and said, "Grandma T....take your picture NOW so that I can concentrate on bowling a strike!"  I guess I was told!  lol
Nate enjoying his time with Papa Howie
Nate even got a chance to bowl.  In the video I kept calling him LUKIE though.  I guess I should spend a little more time at home in Utah so that I can learn the names of my grandkids!
Lyss cheesin' it for the camera
Once we were finished bowling Uncle Tyson spent some time playing with the kids. He is such a wonderful father, uncle and son-in-law.  I appreciate how he is taking an interest in the girls.  They need some extra love and attention in their lives and he is stepping up to the plate and helping them in so many ways.  Thanks Ty....I love you!

Well, we totally enjoyed ourselves today.  Bowling was a fun activity for both the adults and the kids.  Can't wait to come home again and spend more quality time with our family and form more memories!

I love my family!!!
