Bike Riding Lessons....

May 10, 2011
Howie let me stay home this week instead of going back to Montana with him.  What a sweetheart.  Ty and Ash came over on Tuesday to visit.  Tyson decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and show the kids how to ride their bikes.
Boo was the first one to try.....
This was amazing!  One time down the street and he had her taught!!!  I loved her expression when she realized he was running beside her instead of pushing her.

Luke was quite upset to have to get on a GIRL BIKE with a Pink helmet.  He did NOT think that was very cool.
Once Ty did his magic spell~ Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo he was okay to ride the bike.  Before that he was about in tears.  He wanted a turn but the color of the bike was about to make him miss out on his turn!  He is ALL BOY and doesn't like anything pink and girlie!
He is such a good teacher....

They younger kids thought it was fun to be pushed by him.  They had a hard time realizing that they needed to actually pedal the bike to keep it going. Why work if you have someone pushing you?  lol
Hey look Grandma T...I am flying!!!!  Ty would run them down the street and then just pick them up in the air to spin them around so they could go the opposite direction.  He is such a great dad!  He always makes everything so much fun.

Lyssi's turn with her uncle Ty....
I have been so impressed with the way that Ty has stepped up to fill in as a "father figure" to Karah and Lyssi.   They needed a male influence in their lives.  I remember when they were younger they were actually quite afraid of him.  He would play rough with them or tease them (to toughen them up a bit).  Karah, in fact could be found hiding around the corner whenever the boys would be playing with their dad, in fear that she would be grabbed and tossed up in the air.  They now have a great relationship with him and they adore their Uncle Ty.  Thank you Tyson for being there for them when their dad was not around.  You are an awesome uncle and we love you.

Lolly....
The kids have sure enjoyed the new addition to the family.  Lolly is certainly LOVED!
Lots of snuggles and kisses.....
It is fun to watch how tenderly Jack plays with Lolly.  He takes every chance he can get to spend time with her.
What a fun pet!
I am not sure why this picture is in with these but when I saw it I decided to post it anyway.  Karah made it and I think it is adorable.  Care bears from our "Karah-Bear"

I am so happy that Howie let me stay home to spend time with my little ones.  He always seems to know when I need that time.  He is so sensitive to my needs and basically SPOILS me every day!  I feel like I take him for granted sometimes and don't realize how good I have it.  He is an amazing husband and I love him dearly.  Thanks Steve for this week.  I truly appreciate it!!!
