While we were out of town my neighbor and friend passed away and I was not able to return for the funeral. We thought that when we went to Sacramento we could go to the temple there and put the names of her husband and two girls on the prayer roll and take some time to pray and think of her and her sweet family.

When all of Steve's family went to the graduation ceremony for Tyson, we drove over to the nearby temple.

Once again, like all of the temples which we have visited,
it was BEAUTIFUL!

It was a HOT but beautiful day.....
Flowers....
The colors were stunning!
Almost patriotic. Red, White, and Blue!

I make it a habit to take pictures of the gorgeous flowers on the temple grounds to help me remember the beauty that surrounded that particular temple. Howie absolutely loved these blue flowers. Maybe because blue is his favorite color :)

They were very pretty especially against the bright red colors.

There was a beautiful waterfall right at the entrance of the temple.

More shots of the temple......

These archways remind me of the Bountiful Temple.
I think that is the one that has them. Maybe not!
Can't remember but I think they are cool!

Good Ole Angel Moroni
perched high atop this temple....

I love this picture!

Can't tell you how gorgeous this temple is on the inside!
It is by far one of my favorite temples we have been to so far. I can't describe in words how absolutely beautiful it is. The Celestial room ranks up there with the San Diego temple which I loved. I think I actually like this one better!
The session was not what we expected but it was very nice. It was a Spanish session and so we had the headsets that would translate it into English. Well..... they didn't work! There were these huge TV screens in the rooms (which I think really distracted from the beauty of the rooms) that had sign language as well as closed caption for us to watch instead of the headsets.. It was nice to see the sign language because I could actually understand some of it. I was amazed how much of the session I have memorized because we have gone so much over the past two or three years.
We went up to the prayer circle, even though we didn't understand Spanish, you could seriously feel the spirit in the room that day. Very nice experience!
As I walked into the Celestial room I was so overcome with emotion. I seriously stood in AWE! I was one of the first ones in and it felt as if I had just entered the presence of God! I watched as people entered the room and there response was very similar to mine. WOW! I had been thinking about the Davidson family all day and as I walked into the celestial room it felt almost "Heavenly". Can't really describe the feeling but it was a place I did NOT want to leave. What a wonderful feeling of peace and joy you feel when you are in the House of the Lord. I feel so blessed to be a member of this church and have the gospel in my life. It gives us so much HOPE!

After the session we decided to take a few more picts before we left. This one was done in the grass with my timer because no one was around to snap it for us. So the blades of grass are in my face, but Howie LOVES it so I decided to post it anyway. I loved this day!

Yeah! We found a man to take our picture.....
It is so nice to be here with Steven.
He always makes me feel so loved!
He has got to be the most gentle, kind man out there!

Howie, Thanks for taking me to the temples and keeping me on the straight and narrow path. You are a wonderful example of how we should all live our lives. Thanks for your love and sweetness towards me.

Heading home......

I love my man!
Steven Harper Howell.....You are the BEST!

I love the color combinations in the flowers here! Very nice! I am a sucker for red, white and blue though and any other combo that's nice! I can't remember if Bountiful has the arches but I know Timpanogos temple does... Good to know that Steve likes pictures of you guys with grass in front of your face! LOL I wish I could photoshop the grass out for you!
