Off to San Francisco....

After we left Mike's house in Sacramento we were off for another week of work. Steve was working in San Mateo California and so we decided to stop by San Fransisco to see Fisherman's Wharf. MAN WAS IT EVER COLD!!!

As soon as we parked our car we were ambushed by the many street peddlers trying to earn a BUCK! This man wanted to take our picture with his dogs.

As he is shooting the picture he was telling us that this is how he makes his money and that we could tip him if we'd like.

I'm like...."WHAT! Go get a job! You are a grown man and you look like a FOOOOOL dressed up in that stupid costume!" Okay I didn't say it to him BUT I certainly thought it. It amazes me what some people do with their lives. SO SAD!

Within five minutes Howie had forked out about $10.00 in tips. Some guy even tried to shoe shine his Tennis Shoes. Are you KIDDING ME!?! AND HOWIE TIPPED HIM!!! I soon had to confiscate his money. Steve is definitely a pushover.

I enjoyed listening to this man out on the corner

as we ate our Clam Chowder Bowls.....

One of Howie's favorite things in life (besides me) is CHOCOLATE!

He was in HEAVEN!

Every block had some sort of Chocolate Candy Store

I was surprised at the many ADULT chocolate items there were!

Here's my "kid in the candy shop"

We also visited the Ghirradelli Chocolate Center there.

Lots of free samples! Yummm

We stopped off at this Rain Forest Cafe to look around and pick up some treats for the grandkids. It looked like a fun place to eat but we just looked around the store and the lobby.

The atmosphere of the place reminded me a lot of the MAYAN which is a restauant back in Utah. Everything decked out to look like a jungle. Animals up in trees and hanging off rocks. I'm not sure how the food is but if we come with the grandkids some day we will have to bring them here to eat. Looks like a lot of fun for the kiddos.

They had these huge fish tanks in the lobby area...

I love to watch fish swim around. In the last few trips that we have taken we have found many GIANT fish aquariums. It is so relaxing to me to just sit back and watch them. It's like snorkeling with out all of the salt water up your nose!

The bar area was also decorated with fish. The chairs you sit on were the legs of forest animals.... Pretty cute little restaurant.

Me with my new friend, buddy and pal!

Hey MAN....smile for the camera you big BABOON!

Well, it is time to get to work. We had a nice, short, cold visit to San Fransico. Thanks Howie for showing me the sites. When we come back we will have to take some time and REALLY see the town. Fun Place!
