Easter Morning.....

Easter Morning was spent relaxing in the hotel room and recovering from the past three days spent at Disneyland.

It was conference weekend so we listened to the morning session on my laptop.

The girls drew pictures of the fun times they had at Disneyland.

They laid around for about an hour just drawing pictures on their little paper pads from the hotel room. I can't believe how LONG Lyss looks in this picture! It is CRAZY how fast she is growing up!

Showing Grandma T a picture of her "teacup" ride. Very cute Lyss!

We packed everything up and headed down to breakfast. The girls wanted to pull the suitcases all by themselves. Because as they said..."We are all grown up now so we are so STRONG!"
The breakfasts at this restaurant were yummy and FREE! I was running a little late and needed some extra time to get ready to leave, so the girls started breakfast without me!

Apparently Lyssi had a TOTAL and COMPLETE melt down when she found out that they do NOT serve CHICKEN NUGGETS for breakfast. She was SCREAMING and throwing a fit. Steve said the waiter looked stunned and instantly went to see if they could make an exception. NICE GUY! If I was there she would NOT get her way just because of the FIT she threw. BUT...this is Disneyland....The Happiest Place on Earth!

Can you say...SPOILED?!?!? She also insisted on having syrup on her nuggets because it was "BREAKFAST!"

When I was leaving our room I saw a Big White Fluffy animal hoppin into one of the rooms on our floor. I headed down to breakfast as fast as I could to tell the girls what I had just seen. They were convinced that I had just seen the Easter Bunny. I was not sure because I didn't think the Easter Bunny visited people who were on vacation. The girls hurried as fast as they could to finish eating because they wanted to see if he had stopped by our room.

The girls hurried upstairs, running through the halls, in hopes to see the Easter Bunny! They were sooooo excited!

Sure enough....Once the door was finally opened we found out that YES indeed, The EASTER BUNNY had visited our hotel!!! There in the room were some empty baskets, but the candy was scattered ALL OVER THE ROOM! It looked like it had "rained down" Easter candy in our hotel room. The beds, floors, dressers and desk were COVERED with candy. The girls had to go on a mini Easter egg hunt to gather up all of the candy and find the plastic Easter eggs. I think the girls were absolutely in SHOCK! Karah mentioned AT LEAST 10 times during her hunt....."I can't believe the Easter Bunny came. The Easter Bunny CAME!!!" (In her high pitched, squealing, excited voice) Lyss would copy her every once in a while. So cute!

(I had some adorable video of the girls with their BIG Easter surprise- BUT....I couldn't get it to upload to blogger! BUMMER, it was so dang cute!)

Their baskets were loaded with candy and eggs and even their stuffed animals (Whitney and Kate) got some candy.

I have a feeling these two girls are going to be on a HUGE sugar high during our trip to Debbie's house. Once strapped in their car seats and ready to go they started SNARFING down the sweets!

At one point, when I turned around, BOTH girls had their cheeks FILLED with candy as they were quickly unwrapping the next piece of candy that would be popped in their mouth!
Lyss hard at work trying to open her Diego Egg!
Karah was pretty impressed with the things she could create with her candy necklace. It was a cute headband, a beard and mustache!

We were heading to Hesperia California next to visit Steve's mom and his sister. This certainly has been a very fun spring break vacation.
