Happy Birthday Luke......

When we first arrived at Ashlee's house we were introduced to the newest member of her family.

"Rhino-Cheese" is now a Veenendaal!

The girls were very excited to see their new pet!

Not sure if it is a boy or a girl.....

I love the way April is gently holding him. She looks so confident with no FEAR at all. If only she could hold the mouse that has taken up residency in her garage that calmly. If I recall....when she called me and told me that she thought that a MOUSE was in her garage, SHE WAS A BIT HYSTERICAL. She said she was screaming so loud and ran in her house in fear. Doesn't Rhino look a little like a mouse????? Just askin' :)

We got Luke a Mandy Manny's Repair Shop for his birthday.

This box was bigger than him but he was determined to LUG it around.

We thought Lukie would enjoy this toy because of his love of building. Any little gadget that he can hammer or screw or put together....HE LOVES!

His nice Papa Veenedaal put the table together.
I have always said that when Luke grows up he will probably have a job in construction of some sort. By the looks of this picture he is training to be a PLUMBER! He's got a pretty good "CRACK" going on there!

Hard at work.....
Ashlee had put Rhino in a rolling ball and the girls loved it!
They ran around giggling as he rolled along the ground.
April, maybe you can buy one of these ball toys
for your "pet" in the garage :)
The table was complete! Yeah
Now it's time to use the circular saw.
This is pretty cool because they have quite a few different projects that he can build. It has detailed instructions and Manny "talks" your way through building it. COOOL!

Such concentration as he builds a bird house....
Brayden enjoyed Luke's birthday because then HE got new toys too! It was fun to watch them share. Brayden is awesome at sharing (if the toy happens to be Lukes) but if the toy is HIS....Well that is another story!

"Cheese"
"Can I see it Grandma T, Can I see it?"
Everytime you take Brayden's picture that is what he says. Then you show him the picture that you have just taken and he says..."OH YEAH! That's a good one!"
Ash and Tyson had made these transformer birthday cakes. Luke and Brayden absolutely love transformers so of course they loved the cakes. Good job Ash and Ty. They look great!

Time for the candle.
I can't believe that my "little Lukie" is already three years old. That time sure flew by. He is such a great grandson and has a fun little personality. We have enjoyed having him in our family. He gives the biggest hugs, has the sweetest smile and knows just how to make a grandma feel loved. Happy birthday little guy! We are looking forward to our date with you. Love ya bunches!
