I have been going with Ape to her doctor appointments the past few weeks because Shawn has been out of town. It has given me the opportunity to spend more time with April and her beautiful girls. After the appointment I take Boo to dance and then meet Ape at my house. This particular Monday I was totally wasted because I did not get any sleep the night before and work was WAAAY tough.
We pulled a blanket out on the grass and just vegged! I could hardly keep my eyes open. The girls had brought their new baseball and bat to show me.
I think they probably wanted their Grandma T to join them in a game but it was NOT happenin' this night. I was BEAT!

The girls had fun with their new toy and we enjoyed a relaxing evening.
I think the girls really missed Papa Howie. If he had been home they would have had a great time because he would have joined in on their baseball game. He would have chased the balls up and down the street (we were too lazy to do it) No matter how tired he is he always has enough energy for the kids. He goes "all out" when the grandkids are around but I just don't have the energy. I am getting way too old!
Without Papa Howie around Karah decided to drag a blanket upstairs and give Lyss a ride before they went home. They had a riot.
You can tell from this video that Karah and ALyssa were so tired. They were giggling so hard. Karah gets this way when she is extremely tired. They are so dang cute. They did a wonderful job shining up my floors. This blanket thing sure keeps my floors polished up and shiny! :)
Sorry girls that your grandma was a party pooper tonight. Maybe next time I will get some rest before you come. I love you both a bunch!
