New Year's Eve 2010

The Roof.....

We decided at the last moment to go to the Roof Restaurant to celebrate the new year.
We had taken the girls earlier in the year and they LOVED it.  They said that they felt "SPECIAL" at the FANCY restaurant!
The girls had a tough year so this was nice to be able to Bring in the NEW year together.  Lets hope for better, happier times!
Our goofy girls....
Happy New Year Howie!
Posing  by the Temple....
I love my sweet, APRIL!

Karah loved this Giant Nutcracker....
After we ate dinner we decided to stay for some New Years Eve entertainment in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
April enjoying the beauty of the building.  It is gorgeous and so is my daughter  :)
We had some awesome seats for the Polynesian show.  Up front and personal!
I absolutely LOVE to watch Tahitian dancers.  It reminds me sooo much of my dad and the love he had for the polynesian people.  Everytime I hear the music and watch them I can recall the smile on my dad's face.  HE LOVED, LOVED, LOVED watching them.
 Shake it!
It was pretty funny watching this man come out off the stage to SCARE or STARTLE Alyssa.  It was a little surprising but VERY funny!

The kids were able to go to a room where they had set up for kids to make crafts.  They had a wonderful time and made some awesome things.  Wish I had better pictures but April took all of the good ones :)  Oh well..... We enjoyed our time together in downtown Salt Lake.  Time to go home and get some sleep.

Happy New Years!!!
