April's girls just recently started going to a new day care down the street. THEY LOVE IT! They spend a LOT of time making little art projects and are so anxious to show them off when we get home. This one particular day Karah was proud to show off her new idea.....
She had come up with a plan to make money!
She spent all day making BOOK MARKS to sell to people.. She told me that if she could sell them all that she would be RICH!
Her plan was to go door to door selling them for a dollar a piece!!! I told her that was way too much money and then she boldly explained to me "Grandma T, do you have ANY IDEA how much time it took me to make all of these? My TIME is worth that much money!" I was seriously worried that she would be asking all of our poor neighbors for this outrageous price and then I figured some would even be suckered into spending that much.
I then told her that many people in the neighborhood do not have much money.....Her response was "Well then I will have to share the money I make with the people that don't have much" She was determined!

I then gave her a little ziplock baggie and told her that she could only ask for pennies or nickles. NO dollar bills.......SHE DID NOT LISTEN TO HER GRANDMA!!!! Within a half an hour she returned home with a baggie full of coins. Mostly quarters. She also reported to me that she even got a cookie from Birdie Crane. WOW! WAS SHE EVER EXCITED!
She is going to be a great employee when she grows up. Steve has already informed her that she is NOT allowed to move out of our home until she is 18 years old and then she is going to come work for us. She will be an awesome sales person. LOL
