Steve has been working in Twin Falls the past few months and I have gone with him to try to learn the business. We have met some incredible "OLD" people who are just ADORABLE! I love to visit with them and hear them tell about their lives. We had the opportunity to meet this man a few weeks ago. He was celebrating his 101st birthday. I can't believe how alert and "WITH IT" he was.
He had a very CUTE personality which reminded me a LOT of my dad. He had a funny sense of humor. When asked what his secret is to living such a LONG life.....His response was "I just tell people if they want to live to be this old JUST DON'T DIE!!!" I am sure his positive attitude, kind heart, and happy personality has helped make his long life enjoyable.
It was fun to listen to him tell about how he used to have a horse and buggy, about his first car, about the ferry rides across the Snake River before the bridge was put in. It would be amazing to live that long and see the progress of things as the years pass. It was a very enjoyable visit and he is a sweet, sweet man!

They are so cute. This one lady wants me to come to her house so she can tell me all about Casper's history. I think I'll take her up on it. This guy is so cute. Steve had better watch it or you'll be takin' off with him!
