Girls June 2010

April found these matching dresses for the girls and their special teddy bears (Whitney and Kate) I thought they looked so cute this Sunday morning all dressed up and ready for church. We had a hard time convincing Lyss that "Whitney" could NOT go to church with her, even if she was decked out in her new dress. NO TEDDY BEARS ALLOWED!

We have grown so close to these darling girls over the past few months. It has been a joy having them live with us. I love how wonderfully they get along as sisters. Rarely ever a fight or disagreement. They really love each other and look out for each other.

Allysa's hair is finally starting to grow out a bit. She is starting to look more like a little girl instead of our "Pixie Princess". It still scares me a bit when I see either Karah or Lyssi with a pair of scissors. You never know when they are going to want to try a NEW HAIRSTYLE out on each other. LOL
Such a cutie! She asked me to blow dry her hair today the way I do Karah's. Well this is as close as I can get Lyss. Give it a few more months and then you can have your "bob" hairdo!
Karah was pretty excited this morning because, not only did her dress match with "Kate's" but her cast on her arm matched the dress and her flower. She also wanted to take her stuffed animal to Primary today to show all of her friends that they were "TWINNERS" but mom said NO! mean mom!!!

I love taking the girls to church with us. I love the hugs and kisses they so freely share with us. I love what Steve says to them all of the time....."Karah, you are NOT ALLOWED to leave this home until you are EIGHTEEN years old!!!!" I agree with him all the way. It would be nice to have them with us that long. I know the time will come that April will move out, and I highly doubt she will leave the girls behind to stay with us. So I guess we should enjoy every moment we have with them while they are here with us. It is awesome being a grandma to two of the sweetest girls around.
Also our little guys....Luke and Brayden! Wouldn't want to leave them out of the picture! They are AWESOME and we have a great bond with them as well. Ashlee has been coming to visit on Sundays so we have had a chance to spend more time with the boys as well. We are looking forward to a new addition in February! life is good! WE ARE BLESSED!!!

To Be or Not to Be said...

Where on earth did April find all the outfits? So cute! I cannot believe how Alyssa's hair has grown. It is absolutely darling and didn't take that long to grow out. Alyssa's going to have a good story to tell on Karah's wedding day about their sisterhood.
