Conference Weekend.........

I had downloaded these pictures about a month ago and thought that they were already posted. Things have been crazy the past few weeks so I just overlooked it. Anyway these are some pictures taken over the Conference weekend.

April and her girls came over to visit and watch conference on TV with us. While they were there Karah had begged me to make applesauce with her and Lyss.

She even picked apples from her tree and brought them with her, but the apples were teeny tiny ones. It would take way too many of these to even make ONE bottle of applesauce. We decided to dehydrate them instead.

The girls are always so excited to do different activities with us. Even something as simple as peeling apples and placing them on a tray brings so many smiles!

They loved how these apples coiled up like SLINKIES.

After several hours the apples were ready to eat. YUMMY!

Howie is not being very quiet during the talks....

He was entertaining the kids for a moment.

He'll do anything to get them giggling. A single smile from our grandkids is the greatest thing on earth! They bring us so much joy!

Lyss was not interested in watching conference.....

She would much rather play with the dinosaur puppets!

The kids sat quietly for about an hour writing in my school books.

They both went through each and every page of their books to make sure they were complete. They took so much effort in making them "Just Right"

Snuggling up with my MAN! I was covering up my cheek because the doctor had just burned off some spots from my face. I had these black polka dots on my cheek. I was STYLIN"

We caught Howie snoozing during the talks....

He insists that he was just resting his eyes and that he didn't miss a thing.

Little did he know that the Prophet was speaking!!!

Just kidding. We just like to give Howie a hard time :)

STILL WORKING!!!

I know I took a lot of the same shot of my girls but I think they are so DANG CUTE! Plus they sat so long working I was actually able to get some shots of them.

We really enjoyed the time spent with April and her girls....
