Lego Land The Last Day.....

I found a few more pictures that went along with the January 2011 trip with the boys to Lego Land.  We had such a fun time with these little guys that I thought I had better post these to add to our other memories.

Alien Wars....
The boys have the most creative minds.  This morning they were playing on their UFO (the bed) and fighting off enemies.  Jack was the caption of their spaceship and Luke was the PET.  Jack had a special gun that would FREEZE the enemy as they approached so that they could fly away to safety.  I love these boys....
Here is a short video of the boys explaining their game to me.

Stuffed Duckie Friends...
The boys love the duck that they won at Lego Land.
They never left their side during the rest of the trip.  New little buddies...
I was so worried at first when Luke won the big duck that Jack wanted so badly but he grew to love his new little friend.  I loved listening to the pretend conversations that Jack would have with him.  Pretty darn cute!

Kisses for his new buddy....

The Game Room....
The hotel we stayed at was FABULOUS!  Lots of fun things for the boys to do.
There was an arcade room that we played in at night....

Jack-Jack riding a motorcyle....
Grandma T giving it a try.  It was actually a riot!  If felt as though you were really on a motorcycle.  Bump, turns and all.  VERY fun game!
Papa Howie is the PINBALL KING!  I am serious.  He amazes me at how he can keep that tiny ball in play.  I stink at that game!!!
One of my favorite games is air hockey.  It was fun to watch the boys play together.  They were actually quite good!
It was fun to watch Brayden score against his papa.  He definitely held his own!  Good job Jack!

He was so proud of himself when he would score against his Papa...
He even got a little tricky and started flinging his paddle at Howie.  OOOOPS.....So funny :)

Brayden taking on his little ole granny.  Take it easy on me!!!

Ping Pong with Papa....
Foosball with the boys...

This gameroom was a lot of fun .....

Jack loved the decorations on the walls especially the surfboard.
He wanted me to make sure to take a picture of his little friend (the duck) with these cool shirts and hats.

Oceanside Beach.....

We stopped by the beach before we headed home and I think we should have planned an entire day there.  The boys loved it!
Luke was a little hesitant at first but soon got used to the freezing cold water and had a great time.
Playing in the waves with Papa....

Running away from the incoming waves....
I think Luke could have played with the sand ALL DAY LONG!  He loved it!!!

Brayden on  the other hand never came out of the water.  I thought he would be frozen solid but the cold just did not seem to phase him one bit.
He was having the time of his life and he did NOT want it to end.

He told me that he wanted to stay there for TEN years!!!  He was SERIOUS!
You have no idea how hard it is to convince Jack to do something if he does NOT want to.
Not sure how we did it but I am sure we BRIBED him BIG TIME to leave.  I do remember him telling me that if his mom ever saw a beach that she would want to live there with him forever and ever!  He wanted me and Howie to bring her the to beach someday so that they could move and live there as a family. So funny!

Well.....we had a nice long trip with these two cute grandsons of ours.  It was fun spending time with them and making new memories.  I cherish our times together and feel so blessed that we have the opportunity to travel and bring our little ones along with us.
FUN TIME...FUN MEMORIES!

  Goodbye Califorinia!
