A Visit From Glenda......

I absolutely love my cousins. All of them are so awesome! I feel really blessed to have a close relationship with these wonderful people. My cousin, Glenda lives in Las Vegas. I don't get a chance to see her very often. So whenever I hear she is in town I jump at the chance to go visit with her.

She came into town to watch her son, Preston play in a volleyball tournament. Kelley's son Zack was Preston's partner.

Kelley (my other awesome cousin) was nice enough to have a get-together at his home in Cedar Hills. Ashlee came along with Howie and I to visit and have dinner together.

Russell (Glenda's oldest son) lives in Provo so he also met us all at Kelley's for a night of fun and games. He is such a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I think he has the most incredible smile. He is just so much FUN to be around!

It is always so nice to just sit around and chat. We catch up on what everyone has been up to and get updates on other family members. I LOVE IT!

We were watching Karah and Alyssa that night so we brought them along with us. On the way to their home Karah was asking if there would be any children her age to play with. I mentioned that there would be a cute boy but I thought he was a few years older than her. When she met Noah she came over to me a few minutes later and leaned over and whispered in my ear. I didn't hear her at first but then she said a little louder, "You are right grandma T..... He is a CUTE boy!!!" I think this girl is BOY CRAZY way too early. Look out Trey! You have competition now :)

Kelley and Teri have a beautiful home in Cedar Hills. It has this amazing backyard. It is so spacious and there are all of these beautiful, mature, trees. Lots of shade and lots of space. I love it! The kids did too. Lots of space to run and play.

Little Luke had the hardest time trying to figure out how to stand up on this tramp. Once he would get his footing just right, someone would jump next to him and he would face plant. It was kind of funny to watch.

When Brayden got to their house he instantly remembered that these people were the ones that had the COOOOL toy room downstairs. He was in HEAVEN! He especially loved this gun which happened to be BIGGER THAN HIM!!!

It was nice to see Kelley and Teri again and their kids as well. I can't believe how much they are all growing. Thanks for letting us all crash at your home.

The next morning Preston and Zack had their volleyball tournament. Everyone gathered to watch and show them support.

It was nice to spend a little time watching the guys play volleyball. That is by far my favorite sport. I could seriously watch it all day long. I never tire of it! Here are some action shots of the boys playing. My camera is so lame so the quality of these are not the best but OH WELL!

We couldn't stay to watch the entire tournament because we were invited to our friend's house for a balloon party. But we thoroughly enjoyed the few games that we were able to see.

Preston will be leaving on a mission on October 20th to Brazil (I think thats the place -I can't remember right now). So I guess these guys will have to wait a few years before they play another tournament. BUMMER! Maybe Zack will have to be Kelley's partner. Kelley is pretty good at volleyball- for an old fart :)

I am hoping to go to Vegas on the 18th to hear Preston talk in church before he leaves. It has been so much fun watching him grow up and I can't believe he is old enough to be leaving on a mission. I am REALLY GETTING OLD!!!!
