We met at my mom's house and the kids enjoyed playing with the Stencils while they waited.
Lyss wanted to join in as well. She just needed a little help knowing which end of the pencil to use as well as what to color on. Use the paper Lyssi.
Well she's got the paper now but she thinks the pencil is for eating! She might just be sharpening it. I remember doing that in my school classes when the teacher refused to let me get out of my chair to sharpen it.
Karah in the car watching movies....
I love the way she is sitting like a little lady- Legs crossed and all ! What a doll!
Yep.... You guessed it! Lyss playing with her toes again. That's her favorite thing to do while driving in the car. April says she has an obsession with shoes. But the problem is she never keeps them on her feet!
Lyssi started saying Papa all the way home from Grams house. I have been trying to get her to say "T" but no way was that happening this night. She has just recently learned to say HOWEEEEE. I love hearing her say it. It is so dang cute. She also has learned to say my name now which is the best. I love being a grandma!
Once we arrived home the FUN began....
It's Lyssi's turn to find them.....
Now it's time for Papa to find us.....
What a great hiding place.....Just the right size!
Alyssa was so funny. Each time Karah would hide we would come down to find her and Lyss would stand over next to the place Boo was hiding and just giggle.
Howie tried to get into the tent to hide but Boo was a quick "counter" and found him right off the bat!
They love to play with the toys in the playroom. They were being so quiet so I peeked around the couch to find them building with the road set. That surprised me because this is a toy that the girls had not shown much interest in up to this point. I actually didn't think they even knew where they were stored.
I was amazed at what a good job they did putting this together all by themselves. I love the way Lyss is looking over her big sister's shoulder and watching her every move.
VROOOM-VROOOM....
Enjoying a bowl of Papa Howie's famous popcorn. All of the grand kids love to play and eat popcorn together.
Hey they are suppose to be winding down for bedtime....
She is pretty funny at bedtime. She will make up any excuse she can think of to extend the time before the lights go out. Bedtime stories, drinks of water, back rubs, prayers, cuddles, goodnight kisses. You name it she has probably thought of it!
Papa Howie that candy is not going to help calm them down. These two were so wound up that night that they certainly did not need more sugar in their system. But what the heck.... That's what grandparents do right? SPOIL EM' ROTTEN!
Lyssi is zoned out in these pictures. You could tell she was tired but did not want to stop playing. She sat on the bed for quite some time playing with the play kitchen supplies. She would take the forks out of the container, then put them back in. Take them out, then back in. Over and over again. It was like she was in a trance or something.
Karah being a goofball.....
She was pretending to be asleep and sucking her TOE! April has she been watching you? You are the only person I know that can even get your toe up to your mouth. She is definately her mother's daughter. Gotta love her!
Lyss sound asleep with her little bottom up in the air. This is the way she always sleeps.
Night-night!
