Trip to Manti

Addison's Blessing Day....
We were able to travel down to Manti, Utah the end of December to see our new little niece blessed. Their family had been sick that week and had debated on whether to cancel it or not, but later decided to go ahead with the blessing anyway. It was so nice to see Mike's family again.
They held the blessing at a Seminary building right across the way from the Manti Temple. Wow what a view. It was a cold but beautiful evening.

Mike gave a very beautiful blessing to Addison.

You could sure feel the spirit there that night.

She is blessed with a wonderful family who love and adore her!

She is such a cutie!

Uncle Steve

That night she was passed from one person to another - each one excited for their chance to hold this darling little one.

They had a huge turnout for her blessing.

We had a nice time visiting with them all.

Visit with Mike...

Before Mike's family left to go back home to Sacramento they stopped by to visit. We first met at Jan's house (Steve's sister).

After visiting for a while we decided to go out to eat at Cafe Rio. One of my favorite restaurants. I absolutely love their chicken salads. YUMMMMMY! Everyone met at our house after dinner for games and more visiting.

The kids kept busy downstairs in the play area watching movies and playing games.

Cousin fun!

While the kids were downstairs playing the adults were playing upstairs. Screwball Rummie is a family favorite. I thought this was a nice way to take a peek at everyone's cards. I could zoom in on everyone's hand to see who was about to win.

BUT..... I got CAUGHT! Ooooops!
McKenzie was my partner and did an awesome job

When she had a break she would work on this crocheting. It just happened to be a gift she was making for me and I did not even know. Thanks Kenz for the nice warm head band thinger (I can't remember what they are called but they sure keep my ears warm)

More fun with little Addison

She was in such a good mood. So awake and alert!

I enjoyed watching Suzy play and interact with Addison. She got her to really smile a few times. It was so cute!
What a happy baby!
