Holidays With My Honey....

Our first Thanksgiving....We had a wonderful time this year during the hoilday season. It is sad that it has come to an end because it has been so enjoyable spending time together with our kids, relatives and friends. Here are a few pictures that sum up the 2007 holiday season.

Thanksgiving 2007....

We had a great opportunity to share Thanksgiving with Steve's kids. They were able to drive down from the Seattle area to spend time with us. It was an extremely LONG drive because they got a little bit lost but they arrived just in time for dinner. We were so happy they made it.

Just visiting with family as we waited for our kids to arrive from Washington

DINNER TIME...

Steve's sister Val has two kids that are attending BYU. Zack and Megan came from Provo to share this day with us and their cousins.

My sister Teresa and her family also joined us for Thanksgiving

It was also nice to have my mom visit with us for our first Thanksgiving together.
I feel so blessed to have both of my daughters living so close to me. That makes the holidays even better. I have such a close bond with both of them and I think they are AWESOME!!!

Jack Jack is a very picky eater but.... give him a box of raisens and watch him go to town! "Wow what a Thanksgiving FEAST!!! Thanks Grandma T "

Me just enjoying everyone's company. Just wandering around snapping photos, photos and more photos! Sit down and eat ALREADY!!!!

Turkey Bowl Football Game 2007......

We decided to go out to have our anual "Turkey Bowl" after dinn er. Those that were not too stuffed from dinner (or in my case the ones that wanted to "work off" dinner) gathered together out front for a wild football game.

Zack was a great team leader but it was the girls with the amazing moves. Just kidding we were pretty lame! Poor Zack was stuck on the team with the OLD GRANDMA! Thanks for being such a good sport!Steve lucked out because he got Ash and Paige on his team. They are both MAJOR jocks! Very athletic! Howie's team was waiting patiently for us to get our act together. Our huddles took FOREVER! But boy were our plays awesome!

Go long for the "Hail Mary Pass"

We had limited space so the plays did not work as nicely as they normally would have. Our team would have KICKED BUTT if we were on a real field! Heather had some amazing plays.

I've got Howie covered .... Catch it for a touchdown, Megan!

Hey Howie... You act like you've played this before. Wow! Nice coverage.... How do you expect me to catch a ball when you are all over me?

Hey....That was pass interference! 15 yard Penalty!!! Well make that 15 feet. We don't have 15 yards to play on!

This is the only way I could keep Howie's team under wraps. I had to control the man! I got you babe!

We changed up teams a bit and now the Steve Howell family took on the rest! "oooh baby" I like to huddle with this man!

We had a fun time playing football but now it is time for food! DESSERT is calling my name!

Inside where it is nice and warm.....

While we were outside playing football the others were hangin' inside playing video games, resting, visiting and just relaxing.

Shawn and Teresa playing a video game on the TV. It was a riot watching them go at it. It was quite the show and looked like a major workout to play the game.

Celene is a pro!

Spencer and Kylan just chillin out after dinner. Hey get your BUTTS outside and play football with us. What's a matter..... did you eat too much? We could have used a few more good men!

Mom and Teresa
Teresa is resting up for her next turn!

Lukie with Uncle Norman

Tyson..... What are you doing inside.....

GET OUTSIDE AND HELP US OUT! You can be on my team!

Thanksgiving Turkeys......

The grandkids stayed busy for a while making turkey decorations with beans and corn. Actually I thnk the adults enjoyed it more than the kids did.

A work of art!

Shawn helping Karah..... gobble-gobble-gobble

Looks like Karah found the goodie jar- what are you hiding in your cheek, Boo?

The boys..."GIVE ME FIVE"

Luke with his buddy, "Stormin Norman"

Bouncin' fun with Heatherly

Our SEAHAWK Beauty!

One of Brayden's favorite things to do is jump from the stairs to the arms of his dad. He gets more daring each day that passes. Hopefully he only does this when someone is there to catch him! He is our little dare-devil.

Piano Playin' Pros.......NOT!

Howie and I have fun messing around on the piano. Someday we both plan on taking lessons. But for now.... just plug your ears and enjoy!

Twinkle twinkle little star......

Spencer and Heather tickling the ivories and showing us how it is done. Hey those hours of practice really paid off! You both do a great job!

Well Thanksgiving Day is over and we had a good time with our family this year. We enjoyed a few more days with our kids before they went back home. LIFE IS GREAT !
